MARION, IN – Kilan Macklin was the highlight of the day for Campbellsville, earning NAIA All-American honors in the long jump.
Macklin hit his best jump of the day to move onto finals on his second attempt, hitting a mark of 7.42m, besting his school record by .02m. In finals, he was able to hold onto 7th place, earning two points for the team.
Ishan Cooper qualified for the first finals of his career at the NAIA Championships. Cooper was the 9th and final qualifier in the 110m hurdles with a time of 14.38. Van Thrasher placed 18th overall in the prelims, running 14.74.
CamRon Hamby was unable to record a height Thursday evening in the high jump.
Cooper, Hamby, and Corey Smith II will compete on Friday for the final day of the NAIA Outdoor Championships.
