WALESKA, Ga. - Priya Latchayya started the 2024-25 season with a victory in the Eagle's Open this past weekend. Latchayya led the tournament from start to finish. 

Priya was the lone Lady Tiger in the field, playing as an individual. Her first round consisted of two birdies and 12 pars. She shot +2 in her first to lead by a single stroke. Latchayya would create some separation in round two by shooting one under, the only under-par round of the tournament. She carded five birdies, the most any golfer would accumulate through a single round. 

Priya won the Eagle's Open by three shots, with a final score of +10. This was her first tournament win of her career. Latchayya and the Tigers will play again on September 9th at the Georgetown Invite in Georgetown, Ky.
