RICHMOND, Ky.- The Campbellsville men's golf team took the road to compete in the Gibson Bay Intercollegiate Invite hosted by the Lindsey Wilson University Blue Raiders.
Carson Childress won the tournament, placing first with a score of -4. Childress' performance saw even to par in the first round, +1 in the second round, and -5 in the third round.
Chase Wilson and Niik Triyananont followed for the Tigers, placing in the top 30; Wilson finished at T21 with a score of +9, and Triyananont finished at T30 with a score of +15, respectively.
Three Tigers placed within the top 50: Daniel Drjlevic in T36th with +17, Javier Anez in T43rd with +21, and Pablo Diaz in 47th with +24.
Manuel Garcia also competed for the Tigers, placing closely behind in 51st with +29.
Out of 10 teams, Campbellsville finished 6th with a total score of +36.
The Tigers will be back in action, traveling to Bowling Green, Kentucky, to participate in the Mid-South Conference Fall Preview at the Bowling Green Golf Course from Monday, October 27th, to Tuesday, October 28th.
