Tiger golf places 15th in ranked-field at Innisbrook Invite

PALM HARBOR, Fla. – The Campbellsville University men's golf team traveled to Palm Harbor, Florida, to take part in a packed field at The Invite at Innisbrook. With nearly every team participating ranked, only five non-NAIA ranked teams finished ahead of the #22 Tigers' 15th-place finish, beating out two top-15 ranked teams and two teams receiving votes.

The tournament, hosted by Dalton State, was held on Monday and Tuesday. Campbellsville posted a total score of +61.

Carson Childress led the Tigers with a top-25 individual finish, ending in a five-way tie for 21st. Childress' T21st performance saw -1 in round one, +6 in round two, and +4 in round three to end the tournament at +9.

Daniel Drjlevic was the next scorer for Campbellsville with +13 in T39th. Chase Wilson, Corentin Hue, and Pablo Diaz rounded out the Tiger scorers: Wilson was +18 for T63rd, Hue was +21 for T77th, and Diaz was +34 for 100th.

Campbellsville will return to the course for the Music City Invite at Greystone Golf Club in Dickson, Tennessee, on Monday, October 4th.
