For the women, Lakes noted, "Our lone senior,
Alexis Ellis, has stepped up as a strong leader for our young Lady Tigers bowling team. As one of the top returners from last year's squad, she brings valuable experience and consistency that will help guide this group to compete at a high level."
Previous student-athlete
Ambrose Shirk was named a graduate assistant for the program. Shirk voiced another notable returner, "
Ayden Sprowles looks promising this year, getting better each practice. Sprowles is hopeful to average 200 this season."
Shirk also discussed an incoming transfer: "
Ryan Smith looks confident this offseason, going into the first tournament as well. We are hoping for high and consistent scores from him, as well as the entire team."
To close, Shirk said, "This preseason has had a lot of changes, but they were all for the good. We strive to be better every day. I believe we are putting in more work than anyone else. We work hard, and we will see results this season."
