  • The Tigers will be back in action, hosting the Judson University Eagles on Saturday, October 11th, beginning at 1 p.m. ET.

Mihlali Blesi and Ruben Cooper opened the game with shot after shot, attempting to earn the home Tigers the lead from the early stages of the game. The opposing Tigers retaliated with shots of their own, but neither team managed to score as the first 45 minutes of play unfolded. With less than ten minutes left in the half, an own goal by Georgetown put Campbellsville's Tigers on the scoreboard. Only a couple of minutes later, Izan Garcia Gancedo collected another goal for the home Tigers with an assist by Blesi, closing the half holding the upper hand, 2-0.

Both teams came into the second half with foul-heavy action, fighting for the win from the opening minutes of the second period. Tobias Etim attempted to score with back-to-back shots, both attempts blocked by Georgetown's defense. The opposing Tigers scored their first goal of the game halfway through the second half. However, the home Tigers were quick to strike back with another goal by Juan Zapata, increasing Georgetown's deficit on the scoreboard and closing the game with another conference victory, 3-1.
