GREENVILLE, S.C. – The 2025 NCCAA Division I Men's Soccer awards were announced after the release from the national office. Mihlali Blesi was selected as the National Player of the Year, while also collecting the Golden Ball Award. Coach Drew Sin was named the Coach of the Year.
Blesi has been a prolific scorer in 2025, helping lead Campbellsville to the NCCAA Division I Men's Soccer National Championship. Blesi scored five goals in the NCCAA tournament to win the SELECT Golden Ball Award. He finished the year with an NCCAA-best 18 goals to go along with six assists to also rank in the top ten. He tallied 42 points this season, ranking him the best in the NCCAA. Blesi also collected First Team All-American honors.
Campbellsville's Malthe Schou joins Blesi, earning First Team All-American honors. Schou, the Tigers' goalkeeper, collected 66 saves this season, earning a .733 save percentage. Schou was also named NCCAA Tournament Most Outstanding Player.
Jon Magnusson and Fredik Nordal were named Second Team All-Americans. Magnusson tallied 1,354 minutes, played in 21 matches, started in 18 matches, collected one goal, and garnered eight shots on goal for a .471 shot on goal percentage. Nordal tallied 1,710 minutes, playing and starting in 20 matches. Campbellsville's defensive had six clean sheets with Nordal as the anchor.
This season, the Tigers collected the NCCAA National Championship title after winning the NCCAA Mid-East Regional Tournament. Campbellsville finished the season with an overall record of 14-7.
Three Tigers were named to the NCCAA All-Tournament Team: Blesi, Schou, and Malte Ekman.
Campbellsville also garnered seven NCCAA Scholar-Athletes: Charlie Hite, Mark Horn, Ollie Jagroop, Nicolo Lanari, Jorge Lascano, Tiago Sabino Aspecada, and Remy Terceros Paredes.
Additionally, several Tigers received honors on the NCCAA All-Regional Team Ballot. Blesi garnered the Regional Player of the Year award, and Coach Sin received the Regional Coach of the Year award. Tigers who collected first-team honors include: Blesi, Magnusson, Nordal, Harry Freeman, and Schou. Izan Garcia Gancedo was the one Tiger who collected second-team honors.
