Dea Bradley and
Whitney Hay set the tone immediately, powering the Lady Tigers to a double-digit lead before the Red Wolves could even get on the board. IU East didn't record its first field goal until the 5:49 mark of the first quarter, but Campbellsville's relentless attack continued. By the time the Red Wolves managed their second basket, the Lady Tigers had already eclipsed 20 points. Late buckets from
Lainey Johnson and
Katy Smiley helped widen the gap to 28-9 after one.
The second quarter was an offensive explosion.
Hallie Allen opened the frame with back-to-back three-pointers in the first minute, sparking a 34-point quarter for the Lady Tigers. Hay quickly reached double figures, and Campbellsville's lead ballooned to triple that of IU East's total. Johnson caught fire late in the half, going on a personal ten-point run that was only briefly interrupted by a Red Wolf jumper. The Lady Tigers took a commanding 62-17 lead into the locker room.
IU East opened the second half with a three-pointer, but
Talynne Shearer and Allen answered quickly, propelling the Lady Tigers to a 50-point advantage. Campbellsville's pressure in the paint and on the perimeter forced 22 total turnovers for the game, which Allen, Hay, and Shearer converted into easy transition points. By the end of the third, the lead had swelled to 55 points, 82-27.
The fourth quarter saw the Lady Tigers' depth shine.
Kinsley Molden, Johnson, Smiley, and
Jordan Collom all connected from beyond the arc, pushing Campbellsville past the century mark with under three minutes to play. While IU East found some late success from deep, it was far too little to counteract the Lady Tigers' dominance. Campbellsville closed out the 109-36 victory as time expired, securing their 13th win of the season.
