LOUISVILLE, Ky. – The Campbellsville Tigers men's track and field team launched the 2025-26 season on Saturday in Louisville, competing against a talented field of Division I and other top-level athletes.

- JaQuez Campbell starred in the sprints, winning the 200m in a personal-best 21.95 and finishing fifth in the 60m (6.90).
- Chris Thomas scored in multiple events, posting 50.76 in the 400m and strong finishes in the 60m and 200m.
- David Young earned a podium finish in the triple jump, placing third with a PR of 14.43m (47-04.25).
- Neo Khanye and Conner Crabtree added points in the jumps, with Khanye recording 6.73m (22-01) in the long jump and Crabtree clearing 1.70m (5-07) in the high jump.
- Samuel Larson set a personal-best 9:13.48 in the 3000m, leading the distance effort.
- Fadi Zayani made an immediate impact in his freshman season with a 4.61m (15-01.5) pole vault.
Campbell led the way in the sprint events, posting a personal-best 21.95 to win the 200m and placing fifth in the 60m (6.90). Thomas contributed key points in the 400m with 50.76, while also scoring in both the 60m and 200m. Zayani posted a 9.68 in the 60m hurdles. Jason Baskerville and Isiah Bain added scoring in the 60m and 200m.
In distance events, Larson set a new personal best in the 3000m at 9:13.48, followed by Austin Barnes, Dustin Ralph, and Mathew Mattingly, who all contributed strong early-season marks.
On the field, the Tigers found success in the jumps as well. Young delivered in the triple jump, placing third with a personal-best 14.43m (47-04.25), while Khanye led the long jump group with a fourth-place finish at 6.73m (22-01). Zayani cleared 4.61m (15-01.5) in his collegiate debut. Crabtree added points in the high jump at 1.70m (5-07).
The Tigers will return to action at the Indiana Tech Warrior Invite in Fort Wayne, Indiana, on December 11-12, as the 2025-26 campaign continues.
