The Lady Tigers' share of the second was short-lived, put away in a three-up, three-down fashion. The Lions collected another hit but did not score before the end of the inning.
Camille Conkright came across the plate for the Lady Tigers' first game run with a sacrifice fly from Rylee Warner. Daniels followed with a single to bring Korey Harris across home and followed her shortly after with a double by Caroline Pitcock, claiming the lead. Ashby Murt and Selynna Metcalfe each collected hits throughout the top of the fifth inning, but the Lady Tigers could not capitalize off them before switching sides. During Bryan's share of the inning, the Lions tied the score at four to prevent Campbellsville from securing an early lead.
Neither team could break the tie during the sixth and seventh innings. Each collected hits but was unable to steal the lead and take the victory, sending the game into extra innings.
Daniels came into the top of the eighth with the first home run of the contest to reclaim the Lady Tigers' lead. Murt singled to bring Pitcock across the plate and increase Bryan's deficit on the scoreboard. The Lions were put away in three-up, three-down fashion during the bottom of the inning, securing the victory for Campbellsville.

Campbellsville's second inning was short-lived, put away in a three-up, three-down style. Bryan collected two singles but had yet to make it to the scoreboard at the end of the second.
Much like the second, the Lady Tigers were quickly put away in three-up, three-down fashion during the top of the third. With a triple and a sacrifice fly, the Lions were first on the scoreboard, putting up three runs to take the advantage.
Daniels came into the top of the fourth with a double, unable to score before the end of Campbellsville's share of the inning. Bryan also collected another hit, unable to reach the plate.
