LONDON, Ky. – The Campbellsville University men's and women's golf teams traveled to the Crooked Creek Golf Course in London, Kentucky, to participate in the Patriot Invite. With the men landing a second-place finish, Corentin Hue lead the way in fourth. The women finished the Invite in fourth.
The University of the Cumberlands hosted the Patriot Invite. The Tigers defeated the Patriots, narrowly beating them with a score of +35 to their +37. After the second round, the two teams were tied, both sharing +25. Lindsey Wilson came out on top with a score of +17.
Individually, Hue led the way for the Tigers, earning a third-place finish with a score of +3. Kevin Latchayya landed sixth place, scoring +6, followed by Chase Wilson with +8 in 10th. Carson Childress and Kobe Hill rounded out the scorers for the Tigers. Childress finished in 28th with +19, and Hill was 39th with +27.
Conleigh Wilson was the top finisher for the Lady Tigers, shooting +26 for 11th. Priya Latchayya landed 15th with +31, Hallie Jo Simpson was 19th with +39, Kennedy Daughtry was 29th with +56, and Riley Clark was 30th with +57.
The Tigers and Lady Tigers will return to the course, participating in the Freed-Hardeman Invite at Ross Creek Golf Course in Clifton, Tennessee. The Invite is set to take place on Sunday, April 6th, through Tuesday, April 8th.
