CAMPBELLSVILLE, Ky. – On Sunday afternoon, the (RV) Lady Tigers hosted the Bethel University Wildcats for the conclusion of their series and their last regular-season games. Campbellsville finished the day with two straight wins against Bethel, one a barn-burner and the other a triumphant comeback similar to game one the day prior.
GAME ONE: Campbellsville 19, Bethel 11
The Wildcats earned a single and a free base, but they were unable to score before switching sides with the Lady Tigers. Jessie Daniels made Campbellsville first on the scoreboard, bringing Korey Harris across the plate with a single to left field. With their bases loaded and four back-to-back walks, Emily Reynolds, Daniels, Selynna Metcalfe, and Rylee Warner collected a run to extend the Lady Tigers' lead. Harris doubled to right center with a two-RBI to close the first inning.
Bethel had yet to score at the top of the second. Metcalfe doubled to right field, crossing home shortly after with Warner's single up the middle. Jillian Jeffries, Warner, and Taylor Windell brought Campbellsville to double-digit scoring with three more runs during the bottom of the second.
Throughout the top of the fourth, the Wildcats clawed their way up the lead, attempting to catch up with the Lady Tigers. Bethel put up seven runs during their share of the inning, making it to the scoreboard and coming within a few runs from tying the score. Madison Reed scored Campbellsville's first home run in the opening of the bottom of the fourth. Daniels doubled down the left line, resulting in another run by Windell.
With four more runs during the top of the sixth, Bethel came within two points from the advantage. However, with two three-RBI home runs by Daniels and Reed, the gap widened, and the game finished with an eight-run lead.
GAME TWO: Campbellsville 4, Bethel 2
Both teams collected hits during the first two innings, but neither managed to score going into the third.
Bethel was first on the scoreboard with a two-RBI from a double to right center. Harris, Daniels, and Warner each collected a single throughout the bottom of the third, but Campbellsville was yet to make it to the scoreboard.
The Wildcats were put away in three-up, three-down fashion during the top of the fifth. The Lady Tigers stole the lead during their portion of the inning with a two-RBI single down the left line by Ashby Murt, bringing Metcalfe and Harris across the plate. Murt and Warner followed for two more runs, with Reed's double to left field.
Throughout the next couple of innings, both teams collected a couple of hits and free bases, but both were unable to score any further, resulting in a Campbellsville win.
The Lady Tigers will return at 2:30 p.m. ET on Thursday, May 1st, when they travel to Clarksville, Tennessee, for the Mid-South Conference Tournament. As the three seed, they will play the winner of the Bethel Wildcats and Georgetown Tigers game.

- During the first game, Daniels led with five at-bats and five RBIs, Reed with five RBIs and two home runs, and Ellie Coley with three strikeouts. Campbellsville surpassed Bethel in multiple statistical categories: hits (14-9), doubles (4-0), home runs (3-0), RBI (18-9), walks (9-5), and OPS (1.425-.732).
- During the second game, Harris and Daniels led with four at-bats, Harris with three hits, Murt and Reed with two RBIs each, and Reynolds with five strikeouts. The Lady Tigers outperformed the Wildcats in hits (10-6), RBI (4-2), walks (2-0), and OPS (.871-.538).
- The Lady Tigers now hold nine consecutive wins against the Wildcats.
