CAMPBELLSVILLE, Ky. – On day two of the Roar & Raid Invitational, the Campbellsville University women's volleyball team came out strong, earning two impressive wins over Johnson University and Tennessee Wesleyan to defend their home court successfully.

- Campbellsville volleyball swept the final day of the Roar & Raid Invite, defeating Johnson University (Tenn.) 3-1 before sweeping Tennessee Wesleyan 3-0.

- The service line was a weapon for Campbellsville, as the team racked up 28 aces across the two Saturday matches, including 16 against Tennessee Wesleyan.

MATCH 1: Campbellsville 3, Johnson 1
In the opening match, the Tigers took down the Royals in four sets (25-18, 19-25, 25-21, 25-15). Campbellsville found its rhythm quickly, with newcomer Angi Gstach landing back-to-back kills to give the Tigers an early 7-4 lead. Aggressive serving from Kati Vest, who tallied five aces in the match, helped build a comfortable lead. A final kill from Emily Aabye sealed the first set 25-18.
Johnson's tough serving in the second set proved a problem for Campbellsville, as the Royals capitalized on a late run to even the match with a 25-19 win.
The third set was a tightly contested battle. Late in the frame, Brooke Hager and Libby Erwin helped the Tigers edge out a pivotal 25-21 victory. Determined to finish, Campbellsville's middles took charge in the fourth. A kill from Sophie Hill and a crucial ace from Aabye helped fuel a late surge, and the Tigers clinched the match with a decisive 25-15 win. Aabye finished with a match-high 17 kills, while Hager added 12.
MATCH 2: Campbellsville 3, Tennessee Wesleyan 0
In the day's second contest, Campbellsville rolled past Tennessee Wesleyan in straight sets (25-19, 25-12, 25-15). The Tigers dominated early behind kills from Hager and Aabye, building a 12-3 lead in the first set before closing it out 25-19.
In set two, the Tigers' defense took over at the net while Marisa Gallardo added highlight-reel digs to keep the momentum. Campbellsville held the Bulldogs to a negative hitting percentage for the entire match. A service run from Claire Hammond, who finished with four aces, stretched the lead. The Tigers won the frame 25-12 on an attack error by the Bulldogs.
The Tigers wasted no time in the third, jumping ahead 0-3 behind an ace from Jana Krstic. They cruised to a 25-15 victory to secure the sweep, with Erwin leading the offense with a team-high 11 kills.
