WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. – The Campbellsville University men's and women's golf teams opened their fall season at the Rohrman Invite this week. The men, led by Daniel Drjlevic, collected a runner-up team finish, while the women landed in ninth.
The tournament, hosted by Indiana Wesleyan University, was held on Monday and Tuesday. Campbellsville's men posted a total score of +42, earning second place. Marian took the title with +19.
Drjlevic led the way for the men, earning an individual fourth-place finish at +2. Chase Wilson, landing a few places behind, finished in sixth with +8. Carson Childress, Niik Triyananont, and Corentin Hue rounded out the scorers for the Tigers: Childress was 15th with +14, Triyananont was 29th with +19, and Hue was 33rd with +21.
On the women's side, Campbellsville finished back-to-back-back with their top-three scorers: Riley Clark in 34th with +44, Conleigh Wilson in 35th with +45, and Hallie Jo Simpson in 36th with +46. Priya Latchayya (42nd with +58) and Kennedy Duaghtry (47th with +72) rounded out the Tigers.
The Tigers will return to the course at separate times. The women will participate in the NCCAA Regional at Stonecrest Country Club in Pikeville, Kentucky, on September 15th, and the men will take part in the Innisbrook Invite at Copperhead Course in Tampa, Florida, on September 29th.
