CAMPBELLSVILLE 4, INDIANA TECH 2
Looking to avenge Thursday's loss, the Lady Tigers found themselves in a pitchers' duel early against Indiana Tech. Campbellsville starter Leah Holland was highly effective, yielding just two hits over four innings of work.

The Warriors managed to break the scoreless tie in the bottom of the third inning. After a leadoff batter reached on a Campbellsville fielding error and stole her way to third, Indiana Tech capitalized with an RBI bunt single and a bases-loaded walk to take a 2-0 lead. Because of the initial error, both runs were unearned.

Campbellsville's bats remained quiet until the top of the sixth inning when the lineup finally cracked Indiana Tech starter M. Arroyo. Macy McCoy sparked the offense with a pinch-hit single to left field and immediately stole second. After a Korey Harris walk and a textbook sacrifice bunt by Caroline Pitcock, Jessie Daniels lifted a sacrifice fly to left field, plating McCoy to cut the deficit in half, 2-1.

The Lady Tiger magic fully materialized in the top of the seventh. Madison Reed singled to left center, and Selynna Metcalfe wore a pitch to put two runners on. Head Coach Shannon Wathen called upon Karleigh Walker to pinch hit, and Walker delivered, ripping a clutch two-run double down the left-field line to score Reed and Metcalfe and give Campbellsville its first lead, 3-2. The Lady Tigers added an insurance run moments later when Lydia Jones, pinch-running for Walker, scored on a fielding error drawn by Pitcock to make it 4-2.

Emma Markham, who entered the circle in relief in the sixth, slammed the door shut. She pitched two perfect, hitless innings and struck out three to earn the win (2-0).
