CAMPBELLSVILLE, Ky. – Following a dominant regular season on both ends of the floor, Campbellsville University junior guard
Dalton Kramer has been named to the Mid-South Conference First Team, conference officials announced.
Kramer, who transferred to Campbellsville ahead of the 2024-25 season, proved to be the primary catalyst for the Tigers' offense this year. The Hebron, Kentucky, native paced the team with 15.3 points per game, a significant leap from his sophomore campaign, while starting all 28 contests for the Tigers.
A constant scoring threat with the ball in his hands, Kramer elevated his efficiency across the board. The 5-foot-11 guard shot an impressive 48.1 percent from the floor (139-of-289) and a lethal 39.6 percent from beyond the arc (55-of-139). His marksmanship extended to the charity stripe, where he connected at an 85.5 percent clip (94-of-110), up more than 11 percent from a season ago.
Beyond his shooting touch, Kramer filled the stat sheet on a nightly basis. He pulled down 149 total rebounds (5.3 per game) and dished out 71 assists to help orchestrate the Campbellsville attack. His efforts earned him the Mid-South Conference Player of the Week honor on December 1.
His impact was equally felt on the defensive end. A gritty perimeter defender who routinely guards the opposing team's best backcourt threat, Kramer recorded 40 steals on the season.
Kramer's First Team selection is a testament to his continued development in a Tiger uniform. During his debut season with Campbellsville in 2024-25, he averaged 12.9 points, 4.9 rebounds, and 3.5 assists per game while finishing second on the team in total rebounds (143) and assists (67). He also led the team with 61 steals. This year, his scoring average, rebounding numbers, and shooting splits all saw marked improvement, cementing his status as one of the premier guards in the MSC.
Kramer and the fifth-seeded Tigers will now turn their attention to the postseason, where they will square off against the fourth-seeded Lindsey Wilson College Blue Raiders in the MSC Tournament Quarterfinals on Saturday, February 28.
