PARK CITY, Kan. – The postseason has officially arrived for the #17 Campbellsville University women's wrestling team. Five Lady Tigers are bound for the Heartland Credit Union Arena in Park City, Kansas, ready to compete against the best in the country at the 2026 NAIA Women's Wrestling National Championship on March 13-14.
After navigating a grueling regular season and a loaded Mid-South Conference Championship bracket, Campbellsville's national qualifiers bring a potent mix of young firepower and returning veteran grit to the national stage.
103 lbs. - Makennah Craft
Freshman
Makennah Craft headlines the traveling party at 103 pounds. Craft has been an unstoppable force in her debut collegiate campaign, posting an unblemished 4-0 duals record across the 103 and 110-pound weight classes. She rides massive momentum into Park City after capturing the MSC Championship earlier this month. At the conference tournament, Craft pinned her first two opponents in under a minute before controlling the #3-ranked wrestler in the nation for a decisive 8-2 decision. Craft's ability to secure quick falls and technical falls makes her a highly dangerous title threat in her bracket.
124 lbs. - Addison Messerly
At 124 pounds,
Addison Messerly brings vital experience and endurance to the tournament. A returning NAIA Qualifier, Messerly racked up a team-high 17 victories in open competition this season, complemented by a solid 7-6 record in duals. Having faced a gauntlet of ranked opponents throughout the year, Messerly's battle-tested resilience makes her a tough draw for anyone in the national field.
131 lbs. - Olivia Messerly
Her sister,
Olivia Messerly, will represent the Lady Tigers at 131 pounds. Also a returning NAIA Qualifier, Olivia enters the national tournament with 14 open wins and five dual victories. She proved her postseason mettle at the MSC Championships by rallying through the consolation bracket with three consecutive lightning-fast pins, all occurring in 67 seconds or less, to earn a fourth-place conference finish.
145 lbs. - Gaby Perez
Gaby Perez looks to translate a highly consistent regular season into a deep national run at 145 pounds. A returning NAIA Qualifier, NWCA Scholar All-American, and Academic All-Conference honoree, Perez led the qualifiers with a stellar 9-3 duals record and went 11-4 in open tournaments. Her tactical prowess was on display all season, yielding a strong fifth-place finish at the conference tournament after battling through a loaded weight class.
160 lbs. - Kylee Tait
Rounding out the Campbellsville qualifiers is sophomore
Kylee Tait at 160 pounds. Tait returns to the national stage following an impressive third-place finish at the MSC Championships. With a 7-6 duals record and a 10-5 mark in open tournaments, Tait's offense clicked at the perfect time during the postseason. She enters the NAIA Championships having secured back-to-back bonus-point victories in the conference consolation bracket, including a 10-0 technical fall and a pin in 2:02, to claim MSC bronze.
The 2026 NAIA Women's Wrestling National Championship kicks off Friday morning, March 13, and will conclude with the championship finals on Saturday evening, March 14.
