NEW ALBANY, Ind. – Tuesday afternoon on the road, the Tigers set the tone early and stayed in control from start to finish. Campbellsville kept the pressure on #23 Indiana Southeast throughout the game and never let the lead slip, eventually cruising to a 7-3 victory.
- Jaxson Grubbs had a strong game at the plate, going 2-for-4 with key RBIs in the first and ninth innings.
- Luke O'Brien hit a two-run homer in the fourth inning, shifting momentum in Campbellsville's favor.

The Tigers jumped out to an early lead.
Brady Henke started things off with a single to left, and
Antony Gilbert followed with a single to right, putting runners on the corners. Gilbert moved up to second, Henke stole third, and
Jaxson Grubbs came through with an RBI single to right, giving Campbellsville a 1-0 lead.
Thomas Krueger then reached on a fielder's choice, allowing Gilbert to score and push the lead to 2-0.
Indiana Southeast answered in the bottom of the first, getting a leadoff walk and a hit-by-pitch to load the bases. They drove in a run with a sac fly, cutting the Tigers' lead to 2-1, but Campbellsville's defense held the rest of the inning tight.
From there, Campbellsville left runners on in the second and third, while Indiana Southeast struggled to get hits, managing only a single and a couple of walks.
The top of the fourth saw Campbellsville strike back.
Kleysen Gabruck reached via a hit by pitch, and
Brock Brubaker moved him over on a fielder's choice. Then
Luke O'Brien launched a two-run homer to left field, giving the Tigers a 4-1 advantage.
The Grenadiers rallied in the fourth inning. A hit by pitch and a stolen base set up a double, followed by a wild pitch, cutting the lead to 4-3.
The middle innings were tense, with both teams leaving runners stranded and failing to score.
Campbellsville got a boost in the top of the ninth.
Kleysen Gabruck was hit by a pitch to start the inning, and
Joaquin Hernandez followed with a single, scoring Gabruck.
Brady Henke reached on a hit by pitch, and
Antony Gilbert drew a walk to load the bases.
Jaxson Grubbs then stepped up and crushed a two-RBI single, sending both Henke and Hernandez home and giving Campbellsville a commanding 7-3 lead.
