CAMPBELLSVILLE, Ky. –
Mihlali Blesi and
Izan Garcia Gancedo gave Campbellsville University a two-goal first-half lead, but the Tigers conceded twice in the closing six minutes to draw 2-2 with the University of Pikeville on Tuesday in Campbellsville.
- Campbellsville struck just 55 seconds into the match through Blesi, the earliest goal by either side in the Tigers' first four contests of the season.
- Garcia Gancedo doubled the advantage in the 23rd minute, giving him a goal in consecutive matches after converting against Southeastern.
- The Tigers generated assists on both goals, with Alessandro Martinez setting up Blesi and Ollie Jagroop supplying Garcia Gancedo.
- Campbellsville held a 13-10 advantage in total shots and placed six attempts on frame, matching Pikeville's total.
- Goalkeeper Malthe Schou made four saves, including three in the opening half to help the Tigers take a 2-0 lead into the break.

Campbellsville wasted little time establishing the advantage. Martinez connected with Blesi, who scored 55 seconds after kickoff to give the Tigers a 1-0 lead.
Pikeville attempted to answer through Dylan Roberts, but Schou stopped his efforts in the fourth and 19th minutes. Schou added another save in the 27th minute when he denied Elvis Simiyu's header.
The Tigers doubled their lead at 22:54. After Garcia Gancedo had a shot blocked less than two minutes earlier, Jagroop supplied the midfielder for Campbellsville's second goal.
Campbellsville remained active before halftime.
Tobias Etim forced a save from Pikeville goalkeeper Alejandro Iglesias in the 42nd minute, and Blesi had another attempt blocked shortly before the break.
The Tigers carried their attacking pressure into the second half. Iglesias stopped Martinez in the 48th minute,
Jon Magnusson in the 54th, and Blesi in the 61st as Campbellsville pursued a third goal.
Schou preserved the two-goal margin by turning away another Roberts attempt in the 64th minute. Campbellsville then produced three more shots over the next 13 minutes, but attempts from
Malte Ekman and
Inaki Perez missed the target.
Pikeville began its comeback at 84:44 when Roberts scored without an assist to reduce Campbellsville's lead to 2-1. Substitute Mohamed Samake provided the equalizer at 88:22, also on an unassisted goal.
Campbellsville pushed forward once more, with
Tomas Aristizabal sending an attempt high at 88:41 before Garcia Gancedo delivered a corner kick 15 seconds later. The Tigers were unable to produce another opportunity before the final whistle.
Campbellsville finished with 13 shots, six shots on goal, and one corner kick, while Pikeville recorded 10 shots, six on goal, and four corners. The result moved the Tigers to 1-2-1 and the Bears to 1-0-1.
