BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – Campbellsville University's men's and women's tennis players earned a series of singles and doubles victories Thursday through Saturday at the Mid-South Conference Fall Tennis Tournament, gaining valuable individual competition ahead of the spring dual-match season.

• Jose Munoz and Alex Martin each recorded two singles wins, with both Tigers prevailing in match tiebreaks after splitting the opening two sets in one of their victories.
• Fabricio Mesia delivered Campbellsville's most decisive men's singles performance, surrendering only one game in a 6-1, 6-0 victory over Bryson Hill.
• Belen Cavallero and Rodia Noudogbessi opened their women's singles draws with straight-set victories, while Noudogbessi conceded only six games in her first two recorded matches.
• Emma Pheiffer rebounded from an opening-round loss with a 6-4, 6-2 victory over Vanessa Avila, demonstrating Campbellsville's ability to respond in the back draw.
• Temirlan Karim and Hiroma Nishikata finished their doubles run with a 6-4 victory over Sam Stone and Tom Marie, cementing their bracket win.
• Evdokiia Volkova and Pheiffer won their women's doubles bracket with one of Campbellsville's strongest doubles stretches, defeating Payton Venters and Pyper Wasch 6-0 before adding a 6-3 win over Kristina Bulic and Alexia Castells. 
• Andrea Pulido and Noudogbessi split their two completed round-robin doubles matches, responding to a 6-1 loss against Freya Zayzan and Chiara Montecchi with a 6-0 sweep of Emma Jury and Kathryn Gasser.

Elian Walther Jr. began Campbellsville's men's singles action with a 6-2, 6-4 win over Misha Wilheim. Benji Ganem halted Walther Mereles' run in a match decided by a 10-point tiebreak, 7-6, 1-6, 10-4.

Munoz opened with a 6-2, 6-4 victory over Sanad Bouhlel. The freshman followed by defeating Mateo Larrea 6-2, 4-6, 10-5, recovering after dropping the second set to control the match tiebreak. Martin Tiffon also earned two victories, first dispatching Alex Stragier 6-4, 6-1 and then rallying past Thibaud Vivier 2-6, 6-3, 10-8.

Daniel Espin defeated Jose Tobar 6-3, 6-4 before Tadeo Ramirez edged Espin 4-6, 6-3, 10-8. Hiroma Nishikata turned in a commanding 6-2, 6-0 victory over Nathaniel Hill, while Temirlan Karim defeated Mo Saber 6-2, 6-4.

Mesia Oversluijs defeated Hill 6-1, 6-0 in his opening match and later collected a 7-5 doubles victory alongside Walther Mereles against Dev Prakash and Jonathan Brenna. Derrick Namanya also represented Campbellsville in the sixth singles flight, falling to Sam Stone 6-0, 6-0 before earning a 6-1, 6-1 win over Luke Curry.

Campbellsville's men also found success throughout doubles play. Martin and Espin defeated Gabriele Solda and Wilheim 6-4 before Lev Sholosh and Borja Fernandez stopped the Tiger pairing 7-5. Munoz and Namanya posted a 6-3 win over Zachary Thompson and Tom Dwyer, while Karim and Nishikata completed their draw with a 6-4 victory over Stone and Marie.

On the women's side, Cavallero opened with a 6-4, 6-3 win over Bryndis Rosa. Suri Gomez then outlasted Cavallero 6-3, 1-6, 10-6. Noudogbessi defeated Asya Timur 6-4, 6-2 and followed with a 6-3, 6-3 victory over Mahiro Hara.

Kendra Arostegui earned a 6-0, 6-1 win over Aysha Garza. Pheiffer responded to an opening loss against Maggie Blevins by defeating Avila 6-4, 6-2, while Sofia Benito regrouped from a three-set match against Zayzan to post a 6-2, 6-2 victory over Melissa Shykalova.

In doubles, Cavallero and Arostegui edged Rosa and Mar Caneves 7-6. Volkova and Pheiffer followed their 6-0 sweep of Venters and Wasch with a 6-3 victory over Bulic and Castells. Pulido and Noudogbessi closed Campbellsville's recorded women's doubles results by blanking Jury and Gasser 6-0 in round-robin competition.

The fall tournament provided Campbellsville's players with individual match experience before the Tigers transition into the dual-match portion of their schedule during the spring semester.
