Biography

Mackenzie Lee came to Campbellsville University in the fall of 2009. She made an immediate impact on the Lady Tigers as a true freshman and gained the starting point guard role for her entire sophomore season.

So far in 2010-11, Lee has averaged 8.35 points per game. She dropped 18 points on University of the Cumberlands in the regular season finale, her fourth 18-plus point performance in her career. She collected more than 100 assists during the season, ranking in the NAIA Top 30 for assists/turnover ratio (1.672). She posted a career-high eight assists and six steals in a win at West Virginia Tech in December 2010.

2009-10: As a true freshman, immediately made an impact for the Lady Tigers, hitting a pair of game-winning free throws on the road early in the second game of the season at Robert Morris College. She went on to average 8.1 points per game while shooting 48 percent from the floor and 75 percent from the free throw line. Lee played in all 36 games her freshman season, scoring 18 in the season opener at Morris College. She hit that mark three times during the season, including a career-high 19 points against Olivet Nazarene University in January 2010. She dropped 14 points on Trevecca Nazarene University in the NAIA Tournament to help send CU to the NAIA quarterfinals.

PERSONAL: Lee is majoring in elementary education. She is the daughter of Brett and Kathy Lee and sister of CU All-American Whitney Lee, who she considers her hero and role model. Her nickname is Mac.
