Biography

 

If hard work pays off, this season will be a breakout season for Wendi Messer. Wendi worked incredibly hard over the summer to improve her game, and the results have been dramatic. Wendi spent much of last season occupying time in the post due to the loss of Sara Sexton and Meagan Murphy in the post positions. This season, Wendi will be able to move back to her natural position at the guard spot. A truly versatile player with the ability to create her own shot, Wendi is no stranger to taking the big shot. With a knack for passing the basketball and creating on the offensive end, look for Wendi to have a break out season in this her sophomore campaign.   2007-08 statistics:  5.3 ppg; 2.4 rpg; 15 season assists; 6 season blocks
