THIS SEASON AT CU: Bekah Southwood is entering her fourth season at Campbellsville. She has ran three years with cross country and two years with track.
2013: Southwood ran a 21:33 in the 5,000 Meter Run at Mt. St. Joseph Invitational, placing 5th. She also set a PR of 5:23 in the 1,500 Meter Run at the Mid South Conference Championships, placing 11th. She was a part of the 2013 MSC Track & Field Championship team.
2012: Southwood ran a 22:09 in the 5,000 Meter Run at Rio Grande Invitational, placing 7th. She also ran a PR of 20:39 in the 5,000 Meter Run at the St. Louis Fall Classic, placing 30th.
2011: Season best at the 5,000 Meter Run was 20:55
2010: Set a PR in the 400 Meter Dash with a 1:08 at the University of the Cumberlands Invitational. She also set another PR in the 800 Meter Run at Hanover Invitational with a time of 2:43, placing 12th.
2010: Transferred from Murray State University where she redshirted.
HIGH SCHOOL: Attended Taylor Co. High School where she received the 110% award. She played softball as well and was Academic All-Region. Southwood is a part of Road Racers Club Team where she has ran a 76 minute- 10 Mile and a 20:07 5K.
PERSONAL: Majoring in Public Relations with a minor in management. Daughter of Dwayne and Lana Southwood. She is apart of Lambda Pi Eta, PRSSA, Crazy Love Bible Study for CU Athletes, and Sport Ministry Leader for Baptist Campus Ministries.
