This Season at CU: Shane Woodson is entering his junior season at Campbellsville.

2014: Woodson was named the Champion of Character for CU Baseball last season ... He was also named to the Academic All-Conference team... Woodson hit .231 last season while playing in 43 games and starting 28 ... Had an OBP of .330 and stole 10-of-12 bases for third-highest on the team.

2013: Woodson appeared in 30 games as a true freshman while starting 17 ... He hit .135 in limited at bats but stole 4-of-6 bases.

High School: Attended Piedra Vista High School where he played four years ... He hit .426 with 10 triples and 14 homeruns his senior season ... He was 12-2 on the mound with a 2.3 ERA and struck out 77 batters ... Woodson was an All-District selection from 2010-2012 and All-State 2010-2012 ... He was also an All-Academic selection from 2009-2012 ... He was a part of three district championships and three New Mexico State Championships ... He also played five seasons of high school soccer at Piedra Vista.

Personal: Born November 6, 1993 ... He is majoring in business management ... Shane is the son of Darren Woodson and Margie Alvarez-Woodson.
