Biography
This Season at CU: Ashley Goodin is entering her senior season at Campbellsville.
2015-16: Ashley Goodin played in nine tournaments her junior year and finished with an average score of 82.44. Goodin had three Top 10 finishes last year, her best coming at the UPIKE Spring Invite with a T5 finish. She also placed tied for 7th in the MSC Spring Tournament and 10th at the Cumberland Phoenix Invitaitonal.
High School: Goodin played golf for Adair County High School for 7 years…2-time All Region…3-time All Conference…State Qualifier…4-time All Tournament
Personal: She is the daughter of Eric Goodin and Jamie Powell. Born on May 17, 1995. Ashley has participated in a number of community service projects over her three years of college, including: Being an active blood donor (American Blood Center and Red Cross), Operation Christmas Child, youth chaperone, volunteer, and speaker, VBS teacher and volunteer.
She has also volunteered at Angel Tree, Elder Care, Door to Door ministry at church, Jail Ministry at church, mission trips, FCA Huddle Leader, Led Bible Study, Read Across Adair County (Volunteer Reader), Salvation Army, 5K Color Run volunteer worker, Nursing Home Christmas cards and visitation, Christmas Cards for Soldiers, Pride Commonwealth Clean-Up, Emmaus/Chrysalis volunteer, worker, and speaker, Mattresses for the Homeless, Life Straw Project, AHA Fundraising, 5-gallon bucket fundraiser – overseas hygiene, Care Packages for Troops, Heartland Outreach where she built a roof and was in the Green River Lake Clean-Up.
She has also been busy shadowing, grade decorations for multiple high school teachers, mission trip fundraiser volunteer, Goodwill and is CPR certified.
