Biography

2018 (Junior Season) 
  • After a not-so-great ending to her sophomore season, Morgan Gailor had a stellar season in 2018. 
  • Gailor tallied a 17-7 record in the circle with 15 complete-games and four shutouts. 
  • In her 151 innings pitched, she allowed 38 earned runs and struck out 90 batters. 
  • Her 1.76 ERA ranked second in the Mid-South Conference behind teammate Neely Quint's 1.52.
  • She ranked second in the MSC in opponents batting average as well at .222.
  • Her 17 wins ranked third in the conference.
  • Gailor tallied a season-high six strikeouts twice - against Shawnee State on April 20 and Madonna University in the NAIA Opening Round on May 14. 
  • Gailor earned MSC Pitcher of the Week honors twice in 2018 - February 19 & 26.
  • NCCAA Player of the Week on Feb. 26.
  • Earned Second-Team All-MSC honors for the second straight year.
2017 (Sophomore Season)
  • Gailor appeared in 29 games -- making 22 starts -- and threw 117 2/3 innings in the circle 
  • She finished the season with an ERA of 3.51 and compiled a record of 12-6.
  • Gailor led Campbellsville with 85 strikeouts during the season.
  • She record six games with six-plus strikeouts, including a stellar weekend vs. Cumberland University tossing a pair of complete-games and combined for 15 strikeouts in two wins.
  • Earned Second-Team All-MSC honors
2016 (Freshman Season) 
  • Gailor appeared in 33 games overall but 15 in the circle.
  • She threw 27.1 innings for the Lady Tigers, recording an ERA of 1.28 and finished with a 2-1 record.
  • She also made 42 plate appearances putting up a batting average of .238 and hitting three home runs. 
High School: Holy Cross HS 
  • Having an incredible prep career as Holy Cross High School, Gailor was named First-Team Academic All-State, Sixth-Region Player of the Year, First-Team All-State, and MVP at the All “A” State Championship in 2015.
  • She was named to the 2014 All "A" All Tournament Team, First-Team All-State and a Gatorade Player of the Year nominee.
  • Gailor was a member of the Sixth-Region All-Star Team and was named twice to the Sixth-Region Preseason Team.
  • In 2012 she was an Academic All-State Honorable Mention, eventually earning Academic All-State Second-Team honors.
  • In addition to softball, Gailor played field hockey for Holy Cross and was a member of the Student Council.
Personal
  • She is the daughter of Tommy and Penny Gailor, sister is Maddi, and is majoring in healthcare management.
  • Morgan spent the summer of 2018 as an intern with the Niswonger Children's Hospital Community Outreach Department in Johnson City, Tenn.
