Biography

2019 (Freshman Season)
  • Hedgespeth appeared in 21 games this season. 
  • She was one of the first people off the bench to pinch run. She scored 10 runs this season for CU.  


High School:
  • Hedgespeth attended Green County High School.
  • A two-sport athlete at GCHS where she also played basketball. 
  • Has been an All-Region or All-District performer the past five years for the Lady Dragons as an infielder. 
  • In 2013-14, her eighth-grade year, Hedgespeth hit .364 and upped that to .430 her freshman season. During her freshman campaign, she was named to the 5th Region and Class "A" Region All-Tournament Teams.
  • As a sophomore in 2015-16, Hedgespeth was named to the 18th All-District Season and All-Tournament teams.
  • As a junior, Hedgespeth blistered the ball by hitting .537 and was named 1A Second-Team All-State.
  • In addition to her softball accolades, Hedgespeth plays basketball for the Lady Dragons has been named 5th Region All-Tournament Team, 18th District All-Tournament Team and two-time Academic All-State recipient.

  • Outside of athletics, Hedgespeth has spent several years attending mission trips with Constructors for Christ where they build churches and YMCA's for communities in need.
