Cam Margaris will begin his first full year at Campbellsville in the 2019-20 after being brought onto the CU baseball staff in the middle of the 2019 baseball season as the volunteer assistant. His main in-game responsibilities include working directly with pitching coach Brett Neffendorf as an assistant pitching coach/bullpen coach.

Margaris' work with the Tiger bullpen included working with three pitchers, Malcolm Grady, Gage O'Brien, and Jesse Davis, that all posted ERA's under 3.00 and opponents batting averages under .200. CU's pitchers posted a sub 3.00 ERA in relief as a team, finishing the 2019 season at 2.81 over 185.2 innings pitched.

In his short time in Campbellsville, he has also played a large role in assisting Neffendorf with recruiting responsibilities as Cam took about two weeks in the middle of April to visit schools and players in California with the prospects of recruiting them to join CU's team.

Prior to coming to Campbellsville, Margaris served as the Associate Head Baseball Coach/Pitching Coach/Recruiting Coordinator for Centralia College in Centrailia, Wash. in the Northwest Athletic Conference from 2015-2018. He also played at Centralia as a right-handed pitcher/outfielder from 2010-2012 and received an NCAA Division I scholarship to play at the University of Hawaii-Manoa.
