Recieved 1st team All-Conference honors and 1st team All-Region honors ... Slam! magazine reffered to Carlile in 2006 as Canada's best left handed pitcher.
AS A FRESHMAN IN 2005: Had an excellent freshman year, making 15 appearances, (13 starts) ... Finished the year with a record of 9-3 and a 2.63 ERA ... In 78.2 innings pitched, Carlile struck out 70 opposing hitters, and walked just 12 ... Opposing batters managed to hit just .197 off him ... Earned 1st team All-Conference, All-Region, and All-American honors.
SUMMER BASEBALL: Carlile represented the Tigers as a member of the 2007 North Woods League Champions, the Thunder Bay Border Cats with teammates Temple Macdonald and Chris Curley... Was named to the leagues all-star team and pitched on ESPN in the all-star game.
