George Eskridge

George Eskridge is in his sixth year as a defensive assistant at Campbellsville.

Before coming to Campbellsville, Eskridge worked with the Louisville Fire, an Arena Football AF2 team, for four years until the franchise ceased operations in 2008.

During his four seasons with the Louisville Fire, the team went 41-30 an appeared in the postseason during the 2005, 2006 and 2007 seasons. In 2005, the Fire captured the American Conference championship and played in the Arena Cup -- the AF2 championship game.

Eskridge served as the Special Teams Coordinator all four years he worked with the Louisville Fire, while also coaching the Fullbacks and Linebackers from 2006 to 2008. Eskridge was promoted to the assistant head coach for the Fire in 2007 and he also took over the role of director of player personnel and scouting.

At Campbellsville, he has helped the Tigers to a pair of Mid-South Conference West Division titles. Eskridge also works with the jumpers for the Campbellsville track & field programs. He helped coach eight MSC champions, 17 NCCAA All-Americans and nine NAIA All-Americans.

After earning his undergraduate degree from the University of Louisville, Eskridge coached for 12 years as a high school assistant coach. He was on the staff for Louisville Eastern High School from 1994 to 1998 and he spent seven seasons over two stints at North Hardin High School, coaching from 2000 to 2004 and from 2006 to 2007.
