Vincent Davis joined the Campbellsville University Fighting Tigers coaching staff in August of 2012 as the defensive line coach and assistant recruiting coordinator. Davis took over the recruiting responsibilities in 2013 and is now in his third season as coordinator in addition to being the defensive line coach.

Before coming to Campbellsville, Davis gained experience from various levels of coaching and playing. His coaching experience began as an assistant defensive coach at Palmetto High School in 1987. From 1995-1998, Davis served as the assistant head coach and defensive coordinator for the Manasota Stars Semi-Pro football team. In 2002 Davis was the quarterback Coach at Pasco High School before beginning a six year stint as the defensive line coach with Wharton High School in Tampa, Fla., from 2003-2008.  

During Davis stint at Wharton High School he helped lead the team to the Region 2 Class 5A District Championship in 2005 & 2008 and had 11 players earn post-season honors during his stint at Wharton High School with three playoff runs. In 2009 Davis began his collegiate coaching career at Tiffin University in Tiffin, Ohio, and two seasons at Waldorf College from 2010 to 2012 before making his way to CU. Davis has also coached at the Pop Warner level as a volunteer assistant for many years.  

Coach Davis began his playing career at Tarkio College in Tarkio, Mo. before transferring to Bishop College in Dallas, Texas. Davis then completed his undergraduate degree with an Associate of Science in criminal justice from Ashworth College (Ga.) and earned his Bachelors of Arts in organizational management, and his Master’s in organizational management with a specialization in organizational leadership from Ashford University in Clinton, Iowa.
