Josh Williams

Josh Williams, a Winter Park, Florida native, was hired in the summer of 2018 as an assistant athletic trainer at Campbellsville University. 
 
Williams, a Troy University graduate, has seen stops at many high-profile sports organizations across the country. Most recently, Williams earned his Masters of Integrative Studies from Northern Kentucky University while working as a graduate assistant inside the athletic training staff.  While at NKU, he worked with the men’s soccer program.
 
Before his time with the Norse, Williams spent a summer at Woodward Action Sports Camps in Woodward, Pa. He worked with BMX, skateboard, scooter, parkour, cheer and gymnastics teams. 
 
While earning his degree from Troy, Williams was a middle-distance runner for the Trojans but also gained valuable experience by working with the football, basketball, track and field, cross country, volleyball and tennis programs. In addition, he worked high school football games on Friday night and shadowed Physician Clinics and Physical Therapist’s. 
 
Williams has also seen stops with Duke University, the LA Chargers and University of Central Florida. While at Duke, he served as an intern during his senior year at Troy and worked with the football, track and field and men’s soccer teams. 
 
With the LA Chargers football program, he served as a summer intern and with UCF, he was an internet with football, track and field and basketball. 

Williams has earned many awards over his career – Hughston Memorial Graduate Scholarship, National Athletic Trainers’ “Jerry Rhea Scholarship”, Alabama Athletic Trainers’ “Undergraduate Scholarship Winners” and Southeast Athletic Trainers’ Association Scholarship Winner.
