Jana Kortas returns to the CU sideline as a volunteer assistant under Eric Snyder for the men's and women's volleyball program after working under Billy Gregory for the first two seasons of the men's program in 2017 and 2018.

In 2019, Kortas helped lead the Lady Tigers to a 17-18 overall record. She coached the MSC Libero of the Year in Jaimie Thompson, while coaching 5 NCCAA Mid-East Selections in Jaimie Thompson (First Team), Sonia Flendrich (First Team), Sophie Ball (First Team), Yelyzaveta Sharkova (Second Team), and Paige Merrick (Second Team).

Over those two seasons, the men's volleyball team went a combined 28-34 before Kortas stepped away from a coaching role. She also currently serves as Campbellsville University's Senior Enrollment Counselor for Athletics where she coordinates admissions for prospective incoming student athletes.

Kortas is a former member of the Lady Tiger volleyball team as a four-year player from 2012 to 2015 as an outside hitter playing for Amy Zink. Kortas finished her career in the top-10 all-time at CU and currently sits at ninth in career kills with 1,163 over her four-year career. In every one of her four years, she improved her season kill numbers from season to season starting with 88 her freshman year, to 241 as a sophomore, 390 as a junior, and finishing off with 444 as a senior.

She was a two-time All Mid-South Conference selection (2014, 2015), earned Academic All-MSC in each of those years, was an NAIA Scholar-Athlete in 2015, and an NCCAA All-American in 2015.
