Elly Wright joined the Campbellsville University athletic training department in the summer of 2019. Wright's sports coverage will be the women's soccer and baseball teams during the 2023-24 season.
Wright is a two-time graduate but spent her entire college experience at the University of Montana. She graduated in 2017 with a Bachelor of Science in Health and Human Performance and in 2019 with a Master's Degree in Athletic Training.
Her clinical experience is with the Big Sky Conference, University of Montana men's basketball, football and softball teams, and the University of Montana Spring Rodeo.
In May 2019, Wright finished her work at Montana by gaining experience at the Big Sky Track and Field Championship in Missoula. Throughout the 2018-19 year, she spent two months at University of Montana Western assisting in patient care and post-op procedures. Wright also spent the entire season with the Montana men's basketball program and traveled to the NCAA Division I Men's Basketball Championship.
During winter break, Wright spent the month of December at the Orthopedic Center of the Rockies and was fortunate to observe athletic trainers working at the First National Bank New Year's Eve Extreme Rodeo Challenge.
Outside of working with the Big Sky Conference in May, her most recent experience was with Missoula Bone and Joint in a clinical setting alongside nonsurgical sports medicine physicians.
