THIS SEASON AT CU: Erin is entering her senior year at Campbellsville.
2014: Played in and started 62 games, batting .248 ... 22 RBIs ... 2 home runs ... 4 doubles.
2013: Benton appeared in 18 games as a sophomore and started six. She recorded a .200 batting average in those 18 games with 2 RBIs ... She was mainly used as a defensive replacement at the catcher position.
2012: Benton appeared in 28 games as a freshman and started 20. Her defense was a key factor for the Lady Tigers. A part of the 2012 NCCAA Runner-up team and 2012 Mid-South Conference runner up team.
HIGH SCHOOL: Attended Meade County High School where she played from 2006-2011. She was awarded Acadmic All-State first team from 2008-2011 ... Lead team in fielding percentage ... District Champs 2009 and 2011 ... Region Champs 2009 and 2011.
CLUB BALL: Played seven years for MC Stealer and Louisville Stunners. 16U and 18U champs.
PERSONAL: Majoring in math with a minor in secondary education and athletic coaching. Daughter of John and Denise Benton. Twin sister, Kristin, plays for the Lady Tigers.
