Childress comes to Campbellsville after a three-year stint with Tokay High School in Lodi, California. She coached JV and Varsity Women's Volleyball from 2020-2022. Childress also was the Varsity Men's Volleyball Head Coach in 2021-22.Â
Originally from central California, she started playing volleyball in the 4th grade. She would play all the way through before her career got cut due to a knee injury after high school.Â
Her coaching carrer started in 2017 with Club Prime Volleyball. She coached kids from ages 12-18 from 2017-2022. She spent a year coaching at her former high school, Liberty Ranch High School in 2018-2019. She played a role in starting and coaching the middle school volleyball program at her former school in 2019-2020. Â
Childress is currently attending Sacrament State University studying Business Administration.Â
