Natalia Parreira joined Lady Tiger Volleyball in 2016 as a graduate assistant.
Parreira, who was a 5-foot-10 outside hitter for the ToledoRockets, was graduated in the spring from the University of Toledo with a degree in business administration, emphasis international business and marketing.
She played for Toledo and was also a team statistician, summer camp coach and volunteer where she collaborated to distribute food to homeless citizens on behalf of Cherry Street Mission.
She arrived in Toledo from Garden City (Kansas) Community College where she was a First Team All-Jayhawk Western Conference and Region VI selection.
Originally from Uberlandia, Brazil, Parreira guided her club team there — Praia Clube Uberlandia — to national titles in 2006 and 2009.
Throughout an athletic marketing internship at Toledo she helped promote athletic events by distributing marketing materials, social media, and give-away incentives that led to an increase in fan/student attendance in many varsity sports. She is experienced in a variety of social media outlets — Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn and Twitter. She held her internships in social media and public relations in 2015.
