COLUMBIA, Ky. – The Campbellsville University women's soccer team swept both Offensive and Defensive Player of the Week from the Mid-South Conference, MSC officials announced Monday.
 
CU goalkeeper Katelyn Young earned the Defensive Player of the Week and forward Molly Hall was named the Offensive Player of the Week.
 
The Lady Tigers earned their first victory over an NAIA Top-25 opponent since 2015 last Saturday with their win over No. 6 Martin Methodist while also earning a 1-0 win over Bethel University a week ago.
 
In the 3-2 victory over the Redhawks, Hall scored both the tying and game-winning goals with under 10 minutes left on the game clock to give CU the late advantage that they eventually won by. Hall also recorded a total of 11 shots on the week with six of those shots going on goal.
 
Young earned a clean sheet on the road against Bethel in that 1-0 win as she was able to record five saves in the match to allow Campbellsville to score another late goal in the 85^th minute. She also made five saves in the win over MMC to finish with 10 saves on the week.
 
The Lady Tigers will head into MSC play starting this week when they get on the road to face University of Pikeville on Wednesday before returning home this Saturday to host Shawnee State University.
