For the third time this season, Campbellsville's
Jessie Pendleton earns Mid-South Conference Defensive Player of the Week honors, officials announced on Monday.
Pendleton led the Lady Tigers to a 2-0 record by compiling 42 digs last week.
After falling behind 0-2, Campbellsville rallied against University of the Cumberlands to win in five sets. Pendleton tallied 30 digs against the Patriots, while chipping in six assists.
In the second match of the week, the Lady Tigers swept University of Pikeville. Pendleton recorded 12 digs against the Bears helping Campbellsville push its record to 14-6 and 5-1 in conference play.
Pendleton ranks No. 4 in the NAIA with 439 digs.
In addition, Georgetown College had two Tigers earn weekly awards. Caroline Ricks earned Attacker of the Week, while Sarah Bell earned Setter of the Week.
