Campbellsville University Athletics

For the ninth time in her career and third this year, Campbellsville's Amanda Howard earned Mid-South Conference Defensive Player of the Week honors, officials announced on Monday.

Howard made nine saves in two appearances last week without allowing a goal for Campbellsville.

In a 3-0 win over Life University, she played 89 minutes and finished with four saves. In the regular season finale at University of the Cumberlands, Howard made five stops in a 0-0 draw with the Patriots.

The Lady Tigers finished the regular season at 10-6-1 overall and 2-4-1 in conference play.
 
Campbellsville will play in the MSC Tournament this week with game times and opponents to be announced by the conference on Tuesday.

In addition to Howard, Lindsey Wilson's Yvonne Ploeg was named the MSC Offensive Player of the Week.
