Campbellsville University (15-10, 6-0) swept University of the Cumberlands ( 8-10, 1-5 ) in MSC doubleheader action Tuesday. Campbellsville won game one (4-3) and game two (6-1).

In game one, the Lady Tigers built a 4-0 lead before the University of the Cumberlands was able to score three runs in the top of the 6th.  SO
Allison Hortons solo-homerun in the bottom of the second would put the Lady Tigers on the scoreboard. Campbellsville JR
Dana Price would add to the Lady Tigers lead scoring on a passed ball in the bottom of the third. Horton would add a two run homerun in the bottom of the fourth on a shot over the centerfield fence.Â
Allison Horton (5-6) pitched the complete game allowing 6 hits, one walk and striking out 8 Patriots.
In the second game, FR
Jordan Blair (6-2) threw a complete game and allowed five hits, one run, two walks and two strikeouts. Campbellsville University scored one run both the first and second innings and added four runs in the fourth inning.  University of the Cumberlands scored one run in the top of the seventh. Campbellsville University had 7 hits and zero errors. University of the Cumberlands had 5 hits and three errors. JR
Jessica Gunby was 2-4 with 2 runs scored and an RBI. SO
Katie Daniel was 2-3, with 2 runs scored, one RBI and a double.Â
The Lady Tigers will return to MSC action (March 27) at Lindsey Wilson College at 4:00PM EST.Â
