Tigers Rattle Trevecca Pitchers With 16 Hits in 21-0 Win

Lebanon, Tennessee - Nathan Quesenberry's  (JR/Elizabethown, KY) solo homerun in the top of the first inning set the tone for this afternoon's opening game of the NAIA Region XI Tournament between 5th seeded Campbellsville and 2nd seeded Trevecca Nazarene.

After Quesenberry's home run cleared the left field fence, Trevecca's starting pitcher Nick Shupe struck out Chris Curley and then walked the next five straight batters to give Campbellsville a 3-0 lead.  The Tigers added a run in the second inning after Curely singled and advanced home on a hit by Temple MacDonald (SR/Charlottetown, PEI, Canada) to lead 4-0 after two innings.
