#22 Softball Completes Another Perfect Weekend

Campbellsville, Kentucky

In front of a home crowd, the Campbellsville University Lady Tigers Softball team once again was perfect.  The 4-0 weekend was their second in a row.  Campbellsville University swept Lindsey Wilson 4-0 and 9-0 on Wednesday, and then on their senior day, swept visiting West Virginia Tech.  The Tigers are now 32-5-1 overall, and sit atop the MSC with a conference record of 17-1-1.

The Lady Tigers pounded four homers in the second game, moving them into second place in the NAIA in four-baggers with 49. Bailey Dillender (3 RBI), Morgan Bullock (1 RBI), Kayla Portwood (2 RBI) and Erika Creek (2 RBI) had eight of the nine runs batted in with dingers. Dana Price had the other second-game RBI and pitcher Cassidy Kroeker pitched a four-hitter.
In the first game, CU scored a run each in the fourth and fifth and two in the seventh.
Allison Horton stifled the Lady Raiders' bats by allowing only two hits while fanning seven.
Creek had two RBI while going 2-4 at the plate. Jessica Gunby and Krystle Johnson both had solo RBI.
