The Campbellsville University Swim Team found the water again after a holiday break and finished fourth out of seven teams in the Centre College Colonel Classic 2010 in Danville over the weekend. The team was rounding into form after completing the first half of its season in Berea in early December.
The Water Tigers won a dual meet against Berea and had two swimmers to post national qualifying times -
Alison Lee, a freshman from Hopkinsville, Ky., in the 200-yard butterfly; and Lindsay Ritchey, a junior from Paris, Ky., in the 100 breaststroke.
That brings the total of individual national qualifiers to four in five events. Five relay teams have also qualified. Rebecca Norcross, a freshman from Indianapolis, Ind., made a national cut time in the 1650 freestyle; and
Brooke Cato, a sophomore from Bowling Green, Ky. , in both the 50 and 100 free. Norcross has since transferred and is no longer a member of the team.
