Box Score KISSIMMEE, Fla. -- Crazy, sick, amazing - all three were used to describe the Tigers game winning goal Thursday as Campbellsville University beat Hope International University, 2-1, in double overtime at the National Christian College Athletic Association (NCCAA) National Tournament.

As the second overtime was about to begin, CU head coach Adam Preston pulled his team together and asked, "Who has legs?" Junior midfielder Casey Clarke quipped back, "I have legs," to which Preston seriously asked who needed to be pulled from the game in order to put a fresher player on the field for a chance to win.
Clarke, though nearly out of gas, returned to the field and four and half minutes later put the game away with what the opponent may call a fluke, but a goal Clarke could call his secret weapon.
With no one near him, Clarke jogged down a ball and chipped it toward the HIU goal from about 20 to 25 yards away at an angle. The ball clinked off the right, near post and bounced into the left side of the net for the winner. Hope goalkeeper Tyler Golden did a double take, as Clarke shrugged, smiled and stretched his arms out as teammates walked over to celebrate.
"That was an amazing shot," CU head coach Adam Preston said. "He's got tons of ability. He comes off the edge and hits that shot off the angle well. I think he had the confidence from the last one, and I think he was exhausted and didn't want to take the ball any farther."
Clarke admitted that was the case.
"When I'm tired, I just fire a shot. You know, give it a try, have a little go. Maybe it'll come off, maybe not," Clarke said.
The goal could have come earlier though. Campbellsville took a 1-0 lead in the first two minutes of the game when Jamie Allen scored off a throw in from Drew Sin. Despite CU out shooting Hope, 6-1, in the first half and 11-1 for the game, the Tigers could not get another one in the net. Hope tied the game in the 49th minute with a goal by Perris Rowan.
CU goalkeeper James Clements had one save and Golden had five.
The win breaks the program's single-season wins record, making CU 18-6 on the year.
"I'd trade the record tonight in a heartbeat for a win last night," Clarke said. "We had no motivation last night (after the loss), but the seniors came in and said, 'Boys, we want to go out with the record,' and I said, 'Of course, I'll do anything' … Now we have to make it a good record for them (with another win Saturday).
The Tigers will meet Southwestern Christian University at 10 a.m. Saturday to decide fifth-place in the tournament.
