CU swimmers win one, lose one at Cumberlands

In its last warm-up before nationals, the Campbellsville University swim team beat Berea (40-29) and lost to the University of the Cumberlands (57-19) in a meet on Saturday in Williamsburg.

Lyndsay Ritchie turned in the best individual performance in the 100-yard breaststroke with a first-place finish in 1:15.59. The 400-yard freestyle relay team (Brooke Cato, Tori Reiss, Ellen Hittson and Rachel Manias) also took first in the time of 3:59.79.

100-Yard Butterfly: Hittson, Campbellsville, 3rd, 1:08.40; Brenna Irwin, Campbellsville, 4th, 1:14.51.
