Campbellsville softball ended it's four-game weekend on Saturday at
2-2, losing to Martin Methodist 3-1 and beating McKendree 1-0 in
Pulaski, Tenn. at the Martin Methodist College Meltdown.
In the first game,
Bailey Dillender clubbed two doubles, one accounting
for CU's only run as the No. 8-ranked Redhawks slipped by the Lady
Tigers.
In game two,
Alex Jane Clemmons singled in the bottom of the fourth and was driven in by a
Katelyn Daniel single for the only run that was needed.
Cassidy Kroeker, who lost her first start on Friday, evened her record at 1-1 with a three-hitter.
Campbellsville had eight hits and left seven runners stranded on base.
Campbellsville next takes the field when it meets Union College in Barbourville on Wednesday. They stay on the road Friday and Saturday for a three-game match-up at Shorter College in Rome, Ga.
