Box Score The new lights turned were tested out Tuesday afternoon at Tiger Stadium, but unfortunatly for the Tigers' that was the main positive in a 12-6 loss to Union College at home.
Alex Ponich led the Tigers with a 3-for-5 day at the plate and two RBIs and
Zac Townsend added two RBIs, but the Tigers were unable to rally against the Bulldogs.

Union, ranked No. 16 in the NAIA, used a five-run, sixth-inning to turn snap a 4-4 tie and blow the game open. Union (13-6) collected 16 hits in the game to extend its win streak to seven games.
Campbellsville pushed across its first two runs in the third inning, trailing 3-2. After Union answered with an insurance run in the fourth, the Tigers tied the game in the fifth with an RBI double from Ponich and RBI single by Michael Caleb.
Union collected back-to-back home runs from Brian Mouton and Tyler Brake in the sixth. Mouton's was a two-run shot.

Both teams added two runs in the eighth while Union tacked on a run in the ninth to seal the 12-6 decision.
Lucas Henson (2-0) picked up the win for Union in relief. He tossed 3 1/3 innings and allowed two earned runs on three hits and one walk with two strikeouts.
The Tigers threw five guys on the mound, but it was Justin Berman who took the loss in relief after giving up Union's go-ahead run on a balk in the fifth and later gave up the two-run shot by Mouton. He allowed four earned runs off four hits in two innings of relief work.
Campbellsville (9-9) is scheduled to travel to Shawnee State University on Thursday at 2 p.m. before making its first Mid-South Conference road trip of the season to Pikeville College on Friday and Saturday.
