Box Score Despite having more shots and corner kicks in the game, Campbellsville University was unable to answer a rebound goal in the 69th minute by Covenant College in a 1-0 loss Saturday.




Covenant's Elizabeth Oates rebounded a blocked shot and pushed it past Campbellsville keeper Brandie Hagerman for the only goal of the game. The unassisted goal was created when Amy Dykstra's shot was blocked by the CU defense.

Campbellsville had four shots on goal in the final 13 minutes, three for sophomore Cassie Yannelli, but all were saved by keeper Bethany Holman who had seven saves to keep Covenant unbeaten on the year at 3-0.

The Lady Tigers collected 12 shots to the Lady Scots' nine and had seven corner kicks to Covenant's two. Hagerman stopped five of the six shots she faced.

Campbellsville (1-2) travels to Union College in Barbourville, Ky., Thursday for a 2 p.m. game.
