CU shut out at Cedarville, 2-0

Box Score CEDARVILLE, Ohio -- Campbellsville University was held to only one shot on goal Saturday in a 2-0 loss at Cedarville University, a National Christian College Athletic Association (NCCAA) school.


Bailey McDonough collected the only Lady TIger shot on goal in the 47th minute. It was the first shot of the second half, but Cedarville goalkeeper Christine Faulds had the stop in goal.

The Yellowjackets of Cedarville took a 1-0 lead in the 18th minute on a goal by Rachel Brownfield. Brownfield also scored in the 47th minute.

CU goalkeeper Brandie Hagerman had five saves in the loss, stopping one of two shot son goal in the first half and four-of-five in the second period.
Campbellsville only had four total shots in the game.

The Lady Tigers (6-4, 1-1 MSC) will travel to the University of the Cumberlands on Tuesday for a Mid-South Conference game beginning at 2 p.m. ET.
